Rerelease of the black “TO automatic” watch designed by Tokujin Yoshioka

The “TO” series designed by Tokujin Yoshioka was launched in 2008 with the concept of a “watch sculpted from a lump of metal.” The black colour is being rereleased for this mechanical watch with a 45.3 mm case size.
The watch was created through Yoshioka’s unique approach of starting the design not from the shape or function of the watch but from the selection of the material itself, maximizing the material’s properties and qualities while minimizing the design elements to their utmost simplicity.
To emphasize the texture of the metal, typical watch design elements like dials and hands have been minimized, resulting in a simple yet modern watch.
