HOGUSHI

A series characterized by its “Hogushi Kasuri” textile. The Hogushi Kasuri technique involves printing the pattern on warp threads that have been temporarily woven, and then weaving the textile tightly while unraveling the warp threads and omitting the weft threads. The slight displacement of the threads during the main weaving process gives the pattern a blurred look.
