The ISSEY MIYAKE GINZA at CUBE presents a installation “SWINGING COLORS” from PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE.
The “MONTHLY COLORS: MAY” series offers items with simple silhouettes that have been continued since the brand’s inception in an abundant assortment of seven colours, while the “PATH” series features prints that express the image of the letters in “PLEATS PLEASE” moving freely. An exhibition full of surprises and fun that lets you experience the world of the movie will be held in a space brimming with playful colours from the above two series.

In addition, on Saturday, May 6, yuma yamaguchi, who created the music for the movie, will form a one-day-only band with musicians active in various fields, including LA SEÑAS, and give a live performance.
PROFILE

Debuted in 2008 with IRMA Records Japan.
Since 2016, he has been affiliated with the music production company YUGE inc.
He has worked on over 300 pieces of music for advertisements.
He is also active in other multifaceted endeavors, including background music for movies and anime.
LA SEÑAS
An “ultimate mania” percussion group formed in 2016 by just percussionists that gives improvised performances.
It is the first group in Japan to adopt “Rhythm with Signs,” an improvisation method using hand signs that originated in Argentina, and has more than 30 members. Each member is also active as an individual percussionist, and many members work onsite with major artists.
